Pete has been a professional saxophonist and session musician for 25 years. He has recorded with many famous artists including REM, Elton John, Cliff Richard, Richard Thompson & Joe Jackson. He has led his own jazz ensembles as well as playing saxophone with Jimmy Witherspoon, Fats Domino, Thad Jones, Sting, Jon Hendricks, Loose Tubes and many more.
He is also one of the most experienced saxophone teachers in the UK, having spent two years as Head of Jazz & Pop Music at Southampton University where he also gave private saxophone lessons. He is currently unable to give lessons due to pressure of professional commitments as a composer, but is happy to advise if you are looking for saxophone lessons in the UK.
His highly successful saxophone instruction DVD has now sold more than 20,000 copies worldwide.
