I am offering these saxophones for sale prior to putting on ebay. If interested please contact me. I'd prefer for any potential purchaser to try them out first as I am not able to sell them on approval or give any returns if you don't like them, however they will be shipped fully insured so if they are not in the condition as described and pictured I will be able to refund the cost or make good any necessary repairs due to shipping damage.

As well as these used saxophones, within the next few months we are hoping to strike up some deals with saxophone retailers and mail order companies in order to be able to offer some excellent deals on low price (ie cheap but very good quality) recommended saxophones

This is a Dolnet M70 with high F# key. It is stencilled with the brand Constellation for Robert Martin, Macon. Presumably this is Macon, France, not Georgia. It has a very dark sound and the typical M70 offset bell (it points more to the left than your typical straight forward saxophone bell)

It has polished up very nicely with most of the plating looking great, some slight spotting e.g. on the G# key and scratching around the bow and near the top, which you can see clearly in the pics. I didn't bother to dismantle the keys before giving this a once over with the silver polish, so that's why you see some still slightlt tarnished areas between some of the keywork, but that will shine up a treat if you want to remove some of the the keys first. This has been set up and given a going over by Stephen Howard, so you know it is in good blowing condition

It has what I would call a warm and dark sound. Ideal for smoky jazz and classical. Plus it's very cool looking with the bell off to the left.

In the pics it does look a bit like nickel plate, however the brownish black tarnish leads me to believe this is silver plate.

Serial number is 87435. You can read about the remarkable M70 saxophone on Saxpics
